Join us for a one-hour string quartet concert that explores how human beings have perceived the world and how those perceptions have inspired emotion and artistic expression across time. Covering the Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Impressionist, and Modern/Avant-Garde eras, the programme invites listeners into a rich cultural journey.

Two string quartets from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, will perform in succession in the surroundings of the Guildhall Art Gallery, with each style framed by brief spoken introductions that connect the music to the artworks on display. The result is a dialogue between sound, history, and visual culture, offering audiences a fresh perspective on how art shapes emotion.

Entanglement invites listeners into an immersive experience where music and art meet in reflection, resonance, and transformation.
